A couple of weeks ago I saw a "Wreath-Making Class" advertised for today at the OKC Zoo. For a $25 fee/donation you got all the "makin's" of a Christmas-style wreath for your home, and all of the greenery would come from the botanical gardens and native plants on the zoo grounds. I thought that sounded pretty peachy, so I talked my friend Kim into going with me, and signed us up.
It was so much more than I expected! There were about 15 people there; everybody got a big grapevine wreath and there were all kinds of greenery, pine cones, berries... everything a person could want was already prepared. I also have to mention that there was even a man or two there... and I think that's pretty cool.

It was interesting that everyone had the same materials, but the finished wreaths were all so different from one another. The first photo is the one I made; the second photo is Kim's. Some of the other wreaths had a lot of bling!!!!! while others were plain greenery.
I'm already planning what I want to make next year. Heh!

I worked at a place for a while that was big-time into wreath classes around Christmas time.
They also sold grapevine wreaths already done. Shazzaaaaam! Some of those suckers went for upwards of $125. Really!
Sounds like a good deal, and a good time. You made note that there were some men there...ummm...
